Destination & estate properties

Start remotely. Visit only when the property needs it.

Many vacation homes, second homes, estates, and guest properties can be evaluated and improved without an onsite visit. We begin with a $50 remote consultation, develop the right scope, and recommend an onsite assessment only when walking the property would add meaningful value—or becomes necessary to confirm the plan.

Remote consultations are available nationwide. Remote planning and onsite destination assessments are custom quoted after consultation. Onsite availability, travel, and project scope are confirmed before anything is scheduled.

Consultation-first serviceNot every property needs an onsite visit.

Use photos, floor plans, video walkthroughs, speed results, equipment details, and owner goals to determine the simplest useful next step.

A practical destination-property model

Protect the guest experience without starting with travel.

The first goal is to understand the property well enough to avoid unnecessary equipment, unnecessary visits, and a project that costs more than it solves.

1

Remote Consultation

Review the property, internet service, equipment, layout, complaints, amenities, and intended experience. Many owners receive enough direction here to move forward.

2

Remote Planning

When the property needs a fuller plan, photos, drawings, video walkthroughs, and guided testing can often provide the information required. Scope and pricing are custom quoted.

3

Onsite—When It Adds Value

An onsite assessment is custom quoted only when a walkthrough would materially improve the plan or when property conditions cannot be confirmed remotely.

Properties we can help plan

Designed for more than short-term rentals.

The same remote-first process can support owners, managers, agents, builders, and trusted professionals responsible for high-value or hard-to-support properties.

Vacation rentals & guest stays

Guest Wi-Fi, streaming, smart access, outdoor amenities, clear instructions, and remote support.

Second homes & estate properties

Large layouts, detached structures, private owner systems, entertainment spaces, and remote oversight.

Guesthouses, retreats & furnished properties

Multiple living areas, group stays, hybrid work, connected fitness, music, and shared viewing.

Multi-property owners & managers

Repeatable documentation, consistent network standards, clearer support paths, and planning across a portfolio.

Listings, remodels & new spaces

Prepare offices, gyms, theaters, ADUs, pools, patios, and future gathering areas before the property is marketed or finished.

Strategic showcase properties

Distinctive properties with complex needs may justify a broader custom scope, deeper documentation, or coordination with existing trades.

Guest destination markets

Regions where guest properties and second homes deserve dependable technology.

These regional clusters help owners and property professionals find remote-first support for vacation homes, second homes, estates, and guest properties. They are service areas we can consult for remotely and selectively serve onsite by custom quote—not local offices or guaranteed travel coverage.

Remote first—not remote only

When does an onsite visit become worthwhile?

Onsite service is not automatically included because a property is valuable or far away. It is recommended only when the visit has a clear purpose and the custom quote supports the full project.

Often handled remotely

Reviewing ISP service, equipment, floor plans, photos, and property goals
Guided speed, signal, and device testing with an owner or trusted local contact
Guest network, streaming, smart-device, and remote-management planning
Prioritized recommendations and documentation for local implementation

Onsite may add value when

+
The layout, construction materials, or detached structures cannot be evaluated reliably from supplied information
+
A remodel, estate, guest property, or complex outdoor area requires room-by-room observation
+
Existing wiring, coax, conduit, equipment locations, or possible pathways need physical confirmation
+
The owner finds sufficient value in a broader onsite assessment and accepts the custom project quote

For owners and professionals with more than one property

Turn one assessment into a clearer standard for the next property.

For multi-property owners, estate managers, vacation-rental managers, realtors, builders, and other professionals, a custom engagement can produce repeatable checklists, documentation, guest instructions, technology-readiness standards, and a better handoff to local trades or trusted field support.

Destination service questions

Clear expectations before anyone travels.

Do you need to visit every property?

No. Many properties can be evaluated and improved through consultation, photos, floor plans, video walkthroughs, and guided testing.

Is onsite service included in the consultation?

No. Remote planning and onsite assessments are separate custom-quoted services offered after the initial consultation.

Does listing a destination mean you have a local office there?

No. WiFi Therapist provides remote consultation nationwide, Bay Area onsite service, and select destination-property work by custom quote and availability.

Can a local contact help with the assessment?

Yes. An owner, manager, caretaker, or trusted technical contact can often collect measurements, photos, and equipment details under remote guidance.

We will determine what can be solved remotely, what deserves a custom plan, and whether an onsite assessment would add enough value to quote.
